At Moran Trails, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while taking into account the commitments made with our service providers.

1. General Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels. The cancellation will only be considered effective once confirmed by Moran Trails.

2. Third-Party Services

Moran Trails works with independent third-party providers such as hotels, lodges, airlines, transport companies, and park authorities.

  1. Cancellation terms for these services are governed by each provider’s individual policies.
  2. Any applicable cancellation fees or non-refundable costs charged by third parties will be passed on to the client.
  3. Clients will be clearly informed of all applicable third-party cancellation terms before making payment, to avoid any inconvenience.

This approach is standard in the travel industry, where suppliers often impose their own conditions and fees.

3. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of cancellation and the specific services booked. These may include:

  1. Administrative and handling fees
  2. Non-refundable deposits
  3. Charges imposed by hotels, airlines, or other suppliers

Exact charges will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

4. Refunds

  1. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed after deducting all third-party charges and transaction fees.
  2. Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment method and provider policies.
  3. Some services (e.g., flights, special offers, or last-minute bookings) may be fully non-refundable.

5. No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive or utilize booked services without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

6. Amendments & Rescheduling

  1. Changes to bookings may be allowed subject to availability and supplier terms.
  2. Any additional costs arising from amendments will be borne by the client.

7. Force Majeure

Moran Trails shall not be held liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or unforeseen events). In such cases, we will assist in rescheduling or providing alternatives where possible.
