Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will welcome you to Kenya. You will then be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Sarova Panafric (BB).

 

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

In the morning, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and will briefly go over the itinerary before departing for Lake Nakuru. The drive takes you past the Great Rift Valley to arrive in Nakuru in time for a mid-morning Game drive before breaking for lunch. Another late afternoon game drive provides an opportunity to experience one of the worlds’ largest ornithological bird spectacles . the pink flamingo. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo

Lake Nakuru National Park is located 140km north-west of Nairobi and it is also one of Kenya’s finest rhino sanctuaries.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

Arise for a pre-breakfast game drive. You return to your camp for breakfast and check out. You leave for close by Lake Naivasha one of the Riftvalleys. fresh water lakes. Enjoy your morning resting on the lovely hotel grounds of  which is full of nature until time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort (FB).

 

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, you continue with your safari which takes you to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will go past the Great Rift Valley and pass the Maasai plains and mountains formed as a result of the rift. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon your guide will take you for your evening game drive in this huge natural reserve. Dinner and overnight Masai Mara Simba Lodge (FB).

 

Masai Mara is one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves and one of Africa’s major safari destinations. With its scenic beauty and abundant wildlife Maasai Mara.s lucrative tourist attraction from July to September, provides one of nature’s most dramatic sights, the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the Serengeti in the south and across the Mara River into Maasai Mara.

 

Day 5 & 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

You will spend the next days exploring the Maasai Mara, Your safari guide/driver will take you to different parts of the game reserve, tracking down the lions, elephants, monkeys, different types of birds etc. Accommodation and all meals at Masai Mara Simba Lodge (FB).

 

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve Serengeti National Park

Early morning breakfast and prepare for the journey to Isebania border where you will meet the Tanzania driver who will take over the safari. You can have lunch at Isebania on own account. You will be driven towards Serengeti to arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge (FB).

 

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy your breakfast and set out on a full day game drive in the Serengeti plains. The lodge will provide you with lunchboxes. You return to the lodge in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight Serengeti Sopa Lodge (FB).

 

Officially, the park is 14,763km but there are no fences and the actual range stretches way past the borders ,into Kenya’s Maasai Mara, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Maswa Game Reserve in the south-west, the Grumeti and Ikorongo Controlled Areas in the west and the Western Corridor.

 

Day 9: Serengeti National Park Ngorongoro

Today you depart for Ngorongoro Conservancy with a lunch box from the camp to replace lunch missed on arrival day. There will be an optional enroute stop at Olduvai Gorge archaeological site . “The Cradle of Mankind”. In Olduvai Gorge Mary and Louis Leakey found fossilized remains of man’s oldest ancestors. All meals and accommodation Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (FB).

Day 10: Ngorongoro

Early morning descend to the crater for game viewing. Your guide will help you to order lunch box. Allowed time in the crater is maximum 6 hours. In the afternoon you can rest or go for a late game drive at the realm of the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (HB).

 

Ngorongoro Eighth wonder of the world. The crater floor is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to east Africa including the black manned lion and the endangered black rhino.

Day 11: Ngorongoro  – Lake Eyasi

Today you will be driven to Lake Eyasi. Spend the afternoon exploring the L. Eyasi surroundings.  All meals and overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp (FB).

 

A soda (saline) lake in a hot & dry surrounding except for a few spot where clear springs of water running underground from Oldeani, emerge by the Lakeshore. The area is inhabited by the Hadzabes (Watindiga) a very ancient people who are believed to have lived here for more than 10,000 years. Their Language is vaguely similar to that of Bushman dwellers in Southern

Africa. Also in the area are the MBULU (Of Cushitic Origin) and Nilotic Maasai.
